• Mia Montilla ENT 210 Jasinski 17 November 2013 Entrepreneur Interview My definition of an entrepreneur is someone who has set out to create a company  of their own that was inspired by either their passion or their knowhow that enables them  to enter an existing industry. I think an entrepreneur is ideally someone who has a strong  sense of willpower, someone who is not easily discouraged and someone who is not  afraid of taking risk. I also think that an entrepreneur needs to have a personality that  attracts others. I read that the “C” student tends to employee the “A” students. While I  don’t think that having low grades is a good thing I do think that with an attractive  personality and reputation of being reliable so many more doors can be opened. These  characteristics are ideal in my idea of the successful entrepreneur and the person that I  interviewed fits this idea.  The person that I have chosen to interview is my uncle, Ted Thomas, my uncle  and the owner and founder of the New England Academy of Dance. Ted Thomas is an  entrepreneur and has what I call a hustler’s ambition. Since a young man he always knew what he wanted and was always able to devise a plan to achieve whatever goal he set for  himself. My uncle works diligently and his hard work has paid off time and time again. In his college years while he was attending NYU as a student of the respected Tisch Art  School while also working for the internationally known Paul Taylor Dance Company, a  feat that students wished they could do but most did not achieve while still in school. Ted Thomas embodies the previously stated idea of an entrepreneur
