Board of Regents, Luke Legrand. Luke is a Cape Girardeau local, and attended Trinity Lutheran
Grade School and Saxony Lutheran High School, which is where he started paying attention to
politics. Here at SEMO, Luke is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with
an accounting major and Spanish minor. In addition to being a member of the Board of Regents,
Luke has been the Student Government Association treasurer, a Presidential Ambassador, as well
as a member of Lambda Chi Alpha, where he’s been a treasurer and secretary. Luke has also
served on the Interfraternity Council, as an Interfraternity Council Judicial Board member, the
president of the Lutheran Chapel of Hope, an employee in the Office of the President, an
accounting intern with a local accounting firm, all while also working as a referee, farm hand,
and marketing assistant for SEMOS school of performing arts. To say Luke is an involved
member of SEMO is an understatement.
