Identify at least two (2) learning gaps that you will focus on to develop your learning plan. To do this you must first review the PNUR105 course outline. Identify any topics or skills that are unfamiliar to you or you have limited experience with or you want to improve. Talk with others about how you may improve your nursing practice this semester. Describe your learning gaps here: Learning gap #1: When I initially entered the lab, I was surprised by the amount of equipment I needed to learn in order to check vitals. Knowing how to properly check a patient's blood pressure is a basic skill than I need to know. It is very important to know how to properly check a patient's blood pressure going into health field and I want to make sure I am able to confidently check patient's blood pressure. Learning gap #2: Going into hospital, it is very important to know how to keep a safe environment. It is important that when a patient is on the bed, avoiding any wrinkles to avoid friction.
