1.2 Vision & Mission Yoga Enterprise named after the founder who is Yogaraaja Ghanesha Sivarajah is a company that specializes in building software and providing IT services to other companies. Our company was founded in the year 2016 when six graduates from Asia Pacific University was having a coffee and discussing about starting a small company that fixes computers and now we have grown into a business that design systems and software for other organizations. The vision of our company is “You break it? We fix it!”. We chose this as our vision because it gives us a general goal to achieve which is to fix problems. Meanwhile, our mission is “Creating a computerised system for your workplace”. We chose this as our mission because, it defines what our company does and specialises. 1.3 Organisation Chart 2.0 OVERVIEW 2.1 Case Study Description Asimilasi Institute (A.Ins.) is an institutional library which needs a management system for their library. The aim of this system is to enhance efficiency in library transactions and ensure accurate information is stored in the database to allow users to search the required members and books. It offers a book tracking system (check-in and check-out), member searching system and books searching system. This in all would solve the issues of time wastage and lack of reliable information as this system is computerized if compared to the initial manual system. 2.2 Problem Statement(s) ● Transaction of books is done manually ● Human error may cause loss and damages to records ● There are difficulties in searching for books as it has to be done manually ● Physical storage of file and records is space-consuming ● Management of library members is done manually ● There are very little security measures being utilized 2.3 Proposed New Solution Our company would like to propose a computerized system that would be able to manage and automate much of the day-to-day transactions that is handled by the library. Our system features centralized database, to keep the record of the books within the library, and to keep the record of the library members. Our proposed system would have an interface for tracking the check-in and check-out of books, using barcodes for each book to make the transaction processes much more efficient.
