Healthy people 2030: Nutrition and healthy eating Student's Name Course Name and Number Institutional affiliation Instructor's Name Introduction 2 Healthy people 2030 is the fifth edition. It aims at addressing new challenges and building on the lessons gathered from its previous editions. It assist the users’ to have an access to information about changes in the United States population's health status. This information also informs the goals and objectives of each decade. Throughout the country, communities may choose to adopt healthy people's objectives and goals by altering them to achieve their needs. They may also be used to help in setting targets and priorities for their regions and groups of the population. Priorities for Healthy people are the aspects of health considered to be most crucial to the health and wellbeing; therefore, its improvement can be made using the knowledge at hand (Marshal, 2019). Since it was first launched, healthy people have made great progress. It has had major achievements, including reducing some causes of death like cancer and heart diseases, reducing maternal and infant mortality, reducing risk factors such as tobacco, and increasing vaccination in children. During this period, several important things have been demonstrated, such as collaboration among agencies. It's critical to involve partners, various stakeholders from both the private and public sectors to help achieve the people's health and wellbeing. It is also critical in monitoring the progress of goals and objectives of the healthy people to share quality and progress feedback with both the public and the stakeholders (Treser, Welford, & Samarya-Timm, 2017).
