It is evident that moving to a new electronic health record (EHR) or even selecting the
best EHR system for healthcare and care providers is a challenging task. It needs good
understanding of the system to be incorporated in the system. Nurses and doctors today have
continued to be more concerned concerning the ease of use of most healthcare technology. This
is because there some EHRs that is very complicated to use. Moving from previous EHRs to a
new one is not just time consuming but also can be costly and may even ruin the care flow
(Balestra, 2017). Despite the challenges however, it is important to replace or modify existing
