Billboards, magazines, radio and television commercials are necessities for marketing and exhibition of new products, either for sale or public information. Consumers watch television often, and almost a third of television programs are advertising, likewise, radio and YouTube. The Discovery Channel purpose of creating their commercial,” I Love the Whole World” was to persuade viewers to watch their channel and also provide a little insight about what their channel is about. Their target was the mass people who will love to know more about: science, technology, astrology, engineering, as they portray in their commercial with different visual and aural techniques. This shows their target was all ages and groups. Great commercials make use of emotions, humor and sometimes music. In addition to the use of the above tools, harmony and a clear message content was employed throughout the commercial which made their commercial powerful.
