ASPECTS OF ALZHEIMER’S DISEASE 2 Abstract Alzheimer's disease is the most prevalent cause of dementia globally, with its prevalence rapidly growing among aging individuals. The neurodegenerative ailment process is characterized by neurofibrillary tangle and anti-amyloid plaques of hyper-phosphorylated tau. AD diagnosis is built on clinical presentation accomplishing various criteria and imaging and fluid biomarkers. Currently, the ailment does not have a cure, and treatment is aimed at symptomatic therapy with clinical trials ongoing to decline the brain's pathology burden. Preventive AD theories include regular physical exercise, observing a balanced diet, and maintaining intellectual activity and social connections.
