1. What do I include?
Wheeling Relaxing is a unique business where we take geratric patients from their regular environment
of a nursing home and provide them with a safe and fun environment to free their minds and wheelie
relax. Our services include van transportation to and from our cycling studio. Our clinical team ensures
all members are cleared either by our on-call physician or the member’s primary care physician before
they are able to participate in our cycling activities. We also have an on-site LVN to monitor vital signs
of each individual before, during, and after each session. Additionally, all of our cycling instructors are
CPR certified.

Our target market will be mainly focused on the elderly population specifically in nursing homes,
skilled nursing facilities, and long-term care facilities. As the baby boomer generation increases and
more seniors are looking for a fun way to get fit, our studio is the perfect solution for them. Since
many of our members are suck in these nursing homes for long periods of time, a couple hours away
from their normal routine would provide them with a nice escape.
4. Competitive Analysis (If a new service opportunity)
Although there may be many competitors out there, none will be the same as ours because they do not
offer our unique services. As compared to other competitor’s services such as other cycling studios,
gyms, and even recreational activities in nursing homes, our studio creates a safe space where they can
enjoy the benefits of fitness in a fun way! What makes us really stand out from other competitors, is
that we come to our patients. Our safe and reliable van goes directly to the nursing homes and picks up
the patients to bring them to our studio so there is no transportation issues.
5. Key Marketing Strategies (Regardless of the type of plan)
Since we will be partnering directly with local nursing homes that serve our target market, they will be
referring their patients over to our studio where we will provide discounts and incentives. We will also
work with local clinics and doctor's offices to permit us, in addition to a small fee, to post flyers and
brochures in their offices and will also refer their patients to our business.
Also, our van will contain advertisements posted on it and will work as self-promotion as it drives
