Mary Rose F Persincula September 2, 2022 I. Rationale The pandemic caused by COVID-19 affected the lives of people around the world. Many business establishments faced economical challenges due to the unavailability of customers visiting physical stores. On the bright side, many businesses online bloomed through selling items in different online shopping websites and applications. One of the most popular online shopping websites in the Philippines is called Shopee. Shopee, founded in 2015, is a platform designed specifically for the area that offers users a simple, safe, and quick online shopping experience through rigorous payment and satisfaction support (Shopee, 2015). Another popular online shopping website launched in the Philippines is Lazada. Lazada, founded in 2012 has the largest selection of products, including everything from consumer electronics to groceries, toys, clothing, and sporting goods. With a focus on providing exceptional customer service, it offers a variety of payment options, including cash-on-delivery, thorough customer care, and simple returns through its own first and last mile delivery arm, which is supported by about 100 logistical partners (Lazada, 2012)
