Introduction
Environmental justice research seeks to study, document, and address the disproportion
environmental burdens a benefit connected with the social inequalities. The dimensions of social
injustice and inequality have expanded beyond social, economic status, and race to actively focus
on some degree of immigration status, ethnicity, social orientation, and intersections between the
different dimensions of inequality. Due to increased environmental injustice across different
sectors, there is a need for research and new measures to address the problem (Mohai, Pellow &
Roberts, 2009). To understand why environmental injustice matters to many people, we need as
human beings to remember that the movement of fighting environments racism comes as a result
of what happens when human beings fear that their lives and health are being unequally put at
risk by others because of inequality (Mohai, Pellow & Roberts, 2009. Environmental injustice
has been active and has been increased by the discrepancies in social class, color, poor
communities, and facing ecological risks. For sometimes, Environmental injustice has been
caused by different human activities. To address this environmental injustice, this paper will
identify one of the central social injustices that have been happening to communities and look for
initiatives to address them and bring justice to the community. Pollution has been identified as
the main Environmental Injustice, affecting the poor communities due to mistreatment from the
wealth in the community. The following paragraphs highlight how pollution has been
Environmental Injustice and how the problem can be corrected.
