In the recent years, mental health has emerged as a global concern. Despite the growing
cases of this condition, it has not received the required attention stakeholders (Munson &
Jaccard, 2016). Crowley and Kirschner (2015) report that over 43.8% of the American
population develop a mental illness annually. These individuals experience invincible
disabilities, which affect the aspects of their daily life significantly. Following this insuperability,
affected individuals think that their challenges are below the consideration of legitimacy as they
are rare unlike other ailments. While there is a disdain of patients with noticeable health issues in
their capacity to perform various errands, mental health patients encounter assumptions form the
general public that their concerns are pointless.
While mental health condition and invulnerable health issues might not suggest a
successful life, achievement is often linked to the provision of available resources in the
community, along with treatment options. Studies reveal that about 40% of mental health
patients do not seek healthcare assistance (Canady, 2016). This trend affects the efforts to fight
mental health adversely. Also, more than $193 billion are lost annually in the US from
incapacitation to work from these ailments (Canady, 2016). Moreover, Canady (2016) observes
that mental diseases such as bipolar and depression form major cause of hospitalization among
