Current Appraisal Methods
The Telespazio Organization uses the Evaluation model known as the Performance
Appraisal at Telespazio (PAT) (Profili et al., 2018). The organization uses this model to
evaluate employees' perceived aspects that align with the established organizational goals and
objectives.
Identifying Employee Role
The current appraisal model for performance appraisal in the organization is clearly
focused on achieving the identification of the employees’ roles. In identifying the employees’
roles, there has to initially be the establishment of the organizational goals, which is achieved
through assessment of every department to ensure that they concur and are in alignment with
both the already set organizational goals and objectives. After establishing the goals, every
manager evaluates their employees' specific roles in their department. This exercise is carried
out through individual evaluation or as a group to foster acknowledging the more
considerable department knowledge.
The Current Appraisal systems
The PAT helps in identifying the employee organizational skill as well as the various
competencies that they have as individuals. This is also inclusive of the different behaviors
that the employee has adopted in the completion and fulfillment of their various objectives
and tasks. This process involves conducting employee interviews and supervisory
assessments. Through the initiation of this process, the organization, through the
management, is able to gauge the extent to which the employees are aware of their positional
views and their roles in the organization
