Poor Healthcare System in
Bangladesh.
A struggling healthcare system can handicap an economy. This situation can hamper
the vulnerable and also prove to be lethal to patients who could have been potentially
cured. The findings from our study can help give an overview on how to prevent an
inevitable tragedy and help our society to improve. Bangladesh has a decentralized
and pluralistic healthcare system but the combination of greed and neglect has led
the system to deteriorate at times.
What messages do these pictures convey to you?
Few facts:
● According to the Foyez A. (2021) one Thana Health complex in Sirajganj
paid 64.70 lac taka for 50 test tubes.
● Over 550 people died in the last 6 years due to wrong treatment (!)
