PM Solution Rules
Photomath Solution Rules are a set of general principles that must be
adhered to in order to create high-quality content that helps the User easily
understand the solution of the given problem. For this purpose, every PM
Solution has to be reviewed to make sure it is solved according to the PM
Solution Rules.
Only the PM Solution Rules are indicators if a task is solved correctly and
only if some of the Solution Rules are broken, the PM Solution should be
returned as incorrect.
Here is a quick reminder of eight PM Solution Rules:
1. Complete Solving Procedure.
Write the solving procedure for a task, from the beginning to the end,
including the answers to all questions.
2. Correct PM Solution.
The whole PM Solution has to be mathematically correct. That includes
correct calculations, the correct use of graphs, the correct use of math
concepts, and math terminology.
3. LaTeX.
Write all math expressions in LaTeX. This includes variables, numbers,
formulas, symbols, years, amount of days, measurement units, etc.
4. Language.
Write the whole solving procedure for a task in English
