• This week we studied the basic foundations of design thinking and the design process, and the material we used came from the Stanford d.school. So why would the Stanford d.school publish an article called "Let's stop talking about the design process"? Read the short article, above. Then look at the 8 Core Abilities mentioned and think about an example in your own education at ASU when you were asked to utilize one of them. I think that this type of learning and education is really important when practicing things, you are not very good at. For example, ever since I started, I was always afraid and not very good at public speaking. I would just freeze up and completely blank. But throughout my whole journey at ASU I was forced to do it in classes and was told that is the only way to get better at it and get over that public speaking fright. And as an end result, every time that I get an opportunity to get up in front of a class and make sure I know the material well enough to get it across people the way I think its best. Are things that I will look forward too. So, I think putting people in uncomfortable situations, and situations that they don’t like. Will help them develop that skill, which in the long run they will get better at
