Dear Dr. Winslow
The purpose of this letter is to inform you about my individual performance as well as my
team’s performance for the case competition and the research project. I will rank my
team members as well as myself starting from one to five, one being the highest, and five
being the lowest. Even though I firmly believe everyone did their parts wonderfully and
appropriately, the way I ranked our team was based on how big their part of the project
was, and how much each member contributed. After much thought, I have decided to
rank Jillian Gillie first, Gregory Hodges second, Heather Duval third, myself in fourth
and Jess Dickie fifth. I will go into further detail on why I have chosen to go with these
rankings.
I ranked Jillian Gillie first because she had taken upon herself to do the most difficult
parts of the project. She would elect herself to the body part of the research despite
having a job and other workloads. Even though she was not the rising leader of our group
or the most outspoken one, but it was evident to me she was doing the best she can even
with so much going on in her life. One thing she could have worked on is to not show her
stress in front of the group, since it causes group morale to suffer. During presentation,
she would speak about the implementation and solution parts of the project, which are the
longest to talk about. It was tough on her and I am glad she did her speech perfectly. I
would love to partner with her again in the future.
