  A Reflection Paper on The Film, “Amigo”
  John Sayle’s film, “Amigo” was set in the American Colonial Period in the year
  1900, when General Emilio Aguinaldo was hiding, but at the same time, constantly
  communicating to the revolutionary forces that are actively fighting against the US
  military, in the pursuit of Philippine independence. In the first part of the film, it
  portrayed the leader of the guerilla (Rafael’s brother) reading the letter of Aguinaldo out
  loud, saying that “Anyone who tries to help the enemy will be considered a traitor and
  must, therefore, be killed”, and on the other side, Lieutenant Compton announcing a
  message that meant the same thing. We can observe from this scenario, that the
