Background of the Study People are more prone to misplace or lose their possessions in today's connected environment since they are more mobile. Inefficient and disadvantaged in reuniting lost objects with their owners are traditional lost and found systems, which frequently rely on physical records and manual communication. If someone loses valuables, this can cause them to get frustrated, inconvenienced, or even lose money. What is the Problem? The current lost and found system is plagued by several challenges: ● Insufficient reporting and tracking: It is hard to track and manage inventory since lost items are frequently reported verbally or on paper forms. ● Limited visibility: Owners may find it difficult to find their belongings across different places or events because lost item information is often confined to a single spot. ● Lack of communication: Manual ways of communicating, which can be laborious and error-prone, are common in traditional systems. ● Inadequate identification: It might be challenging to link missing objects with their rightful owners in the absence of precise descriptions or photos. Existing Studies/ Similar Systems: Many studies have looked into how digital technologies could improve lost-andfound operations.
