• Abstract Cryptocurrency is specific type of apparent currency based on principles of cryptography and electronic transmission. In recent years, emerged dozens of cryptocurrencies while the most favorite is the first ever introduced- bitcoin. Cryptocurrencies attracted in recent years’ lots of scrutiny. Character of cryptocurrency and their fluctuation is discussed widely by general public, policymakers and economists. This journal recognized the understanding of crypto currencies including bitcoin and the block chain. Due to the first evolution in bitcoins it needed to understand the factors that influence its value formation. Cryptocurrencies are categorized as a subset of digital currencies and virtual currencies. Bitcoin became the first deconcentrated cryptocurrency in 2009. Since then many cryptocurrencies have been generated. The valid status of cryptocurrencies differs substantially from country to country and still undefined and changing in many of them. Cryptocurrencies use various time stamping schemes to prevent the need for a trusted third party to timestamp transactions added to the blockchain ledger.
