1.green based foods gives you more energy as they contains energy directly concentrated on sun light. No energy loss due to the trophic levels in green based foods. As the size of the population is hoghthey have to depends on greens.
2.during each trophic level only 10% of energy is moving. So in a meat based diet it is either third or fourth trophic level amount of energy present in the meat is very low. Because energy is lost during previous trophic levels and only 10% is transferred.
3.major green house gas is CO2, as it is more dense than air present in the lower atmosphere making a shield. This shield prevents moving of refracting solar rays so these rays are present in the lower atmosphere making high temperature. So the shield makes lower atmosphere and surface of the earth as a green house.
a.producers - 1 primary consumer - 1 secondary consumer - 1 tertiary consumer - 2
based on the food chains relative number of producers are smaller than tertiary consumers, and also if this chain connected with other chains to make a food web secondary consumers will present in great extent.
b. upright pyramid since the no of algae > no of larvae > no of yellow perch > no of norther pike > no of human
c. decomposers comes as primary producers, there are two types of food chains grazing and detrital and detrital food chains starts with a decomposer who decomposes dead matter to provides energy to the entire food chain.
1.it is moving from one trophic level to another concentrating in the body of final organisms in a food chains like human, and these mercury not easily leaves the body becoming persistent toxic.
2,they are most probably tertiary consumers in a lake food chain. They will eat so many small fishes and these small fishes eat larvae, and larvaes eat algae which contains mercury. So during the food chain as matter is moving from one trophic level to another toxics also moves and concentrated in higher organism like salmon
3.mercury can easily get into the baby and it will damage baby's brain, lungs kidneys and spinal cord. So they should avoid taking fish food as fishes are concentrated in mercury.
biochemical cycles
1.it can present as a solid, liquid and a gas under different temperatures and pressures. so it is easy to cycle material along with water
water is a great solvent which solubalize most of the cycling materials
2.fixing of nitrogen in nitrogen cycle
it contributes to the 10% of water vapor from transpiration to the water cycle
cycling the nutrients
3.nitrogen cycle
- during lightening nitrogen comes to the earth and the dentrifying bacteria converts into the N2. During decomposing of organic matter NH4+ comes and then these again converts into NO2_ and then NO3- and finally converts into the gaseous nitrogen and leaves to the atmosphere. Plants involving nitrogen fixing converts nitrogen in to ammonia and these ammonium ions are deposited in plant bodies. Once the animals and plants are dead decomposers again converts ammonium into the nitrite.
a. it is very straightforward because vegetation directly affect on fixing the nitrogen, when there is no vegetation like the case of deforestation no one to fix the nitrogen in the surface so nitrogen will move into the surface run off water and leaves the place, So the concetration of nitrogen in surface run off water in deforested area is very high as no pant to fix them.
b.large scale deforestation will cause stopping the nitrogen fixing to the biosphere, So plants as well as animals cannot obtained nitrogen will affect the viability of them as nitrogen is an essential growth factor of both animal and plants. Without fixing nitrogen no cycling of nitrogen and only in the areas where plants are still present this cycling will occur. It will affect the balance of earth. As viability of plants less no more energy production, no food so it will cause starvation of world population. So deforestation will tend to cycling nitrogen which affect every plant and animal.
