Concept Development Many specifications of planning such as opportunity
identification and assessment of technology
development and market objective in PDP are
related to Feasibility study and needs identification
in SEP. Also, a set of specifications, an analysis of
competitive product and economic justification of
the project in PDP related to Functional and
feasibility analysis and system trade studies in SEP.[1]
2 Preliminary System Design:
Functional Analysis
Requirement Allocation
System synthesis analysis and
design optimization
System-Level-Design There are many likenesses between preliminary
design and system level design for instances
allocation of detail design responsibility and
decomposition of system to sub systems in PDP with
allocation of performance factor design factors in
SEP and preliminary design performance
configuration and arrangement of chosen system
related to preliminary process flow diagram. [1]
