What are the goals of this investigation? Part 1: A: The goal of Part 1 of this investigation was to separate three anions from each other using a method of qualitative analysis. The anions were separated from the mixture into precipitants every time a reagent was added, and each anion was separated individually according to a given flowchart. Parts 2-4: A: The goal of Parts 2-4 of this analysis was to continue qualitative analysis of both anions and cations. In Part 2, individual cation reactions were analyzed, and the products of each cation reaction were identified. In Part 3, the information from the individual cation analysis in Part 2 was used to create a flowchart to separate and identify the four cations from a mixture. In Part 4, the flowchart made in Part 3 was used to separate all four cations from a known mixture. Next, an unknown mixture containing some of the cations was analyzed using the steps from the flow chart in order to determine which cations were presen
