OBJECTIVES:
1. To validate resonant frequency equation for series and parallel resonant circuit.
2. To plot a graph of impedance and current versus frequency of a series resonant circuit.
3. To verify that input impedance is minimal at resonance (series circuit).
4. To plot a graph of current versus frequency for a parallel resonant circuit.
5. To demonstrate how input impedance varies with frequency in a parallel resonant circuit.
APPARATUS:
1. IDL-800 Digital Lab
2. Digital Multimeter
3. Resistor (220 Ω), Inductor (10 mH) and Capacitor (0.1 μF)
4. Oscilloscope
5. Function Generator
