Physical Geology 101 Henderson Geography Exercise On the accompanying maps, please locate the following physical features. These are physical features of the world and US that have geologic significance and will be discussed at various times during the class. You may also be asked to locate these features on a map during an exam. Each feature must be labeled with the letter that appears immediately to the left. Letters must be about the same size as the letters in the word LEGEND on the map (don’t write too small or too big in other words). Locations must be within 1/4 inch (half the length of the word LEGEND) on the map to get credit. For an island feature, your letter must be on top of the island to get credit. This is an independent exercise (completed alone); however, you may use any printed or electronic resource available (your textbook [hint], any map, web page, etc.) to locate these features. If a river or mountain range, then please circle all. Feel free to use a color code.
