MCV4U1 CPT Spring 2020
This culminating task incorporates a number of topics from the MCV4U1 (Calculus and Vectors)
course. This assignment will count for 30% of your overall grade and will be evaluated for all four
achievement categories. You will receive marks based on the validity your work, with strong emphasis
on your ability to communicate your results effectively. In addition, you have the option of presenting
your solutions in written, video or audio format. If there is another interpretive format you wish to
present your solutions in simply let me know and we can discuss further.
The final due date for your CPT is Thursday April 1, 2021. Please submit your work via the appropriate
CPT assignment post by 10:00 pm.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Select TWO of the following four tasks (one task MUST be a Calculus Task and the other task MUST
be a Vectors task) and answer all questions.
2. Do each of the selected problems on your own paper.
3. For each problem, include valid and appropriate work in support of your result.
4. Organize your work appropriately, with problem number, necessary work, and result.
TASK CHOICE BOARD:
Choose TWO tasks from the choice board.
One MUST be a Calculus Task (coloured BLUE) and one MUST be a Vectors Task (coloured ORANGE).
