3. This exam is open-book and open-note, but no other resources are allowed. You are not
permitted to use the internet or to discuss the exam with anyone else. This includes sites like
Chegg.
You have 50 minutes for this exam. You will take the exam using 1 of the 3 following options:
1 – print the exam and complete it with a pen/pencil
2 – write directly on the pdf file with your computer
3 – write your answers on blank sheets of paper. These sheets MUST follow the same layout
as the exam – page 1 = cover sheet, page 2 = question 1A-C, etc.
Regardless of how you take the exam, you will then have 25 minutes to convert your exam
into a 7 page pdf file and upload it to Gradescope by 10:45am. Late exams will be accepted
on Gradescope through 11:10am with a 15% penalty. This is a firm deadline to ensure that all
students have a fair opportunity to take the exam.
