annually spend around 16% of its GDP on health care that is in average equivalent to $800
per patient out-of-pocket in consumer’s
medical expenses. These considerable
expenses have driven for the need of a
technology that can help the patients by
monitoring chronic diseases, identifying
conditions early and provide a real
screening tool for the medical illnesses at
low costs. These technologies by remote
supervision will bridge the gap of time and
distance between the doctors and patients
by helping the patients to monitor themselves with the chronic medical issues in the home
setting; they also enable the communication of patients with their healthcare providers and
the healthcare system.
