1. Use Case 1 - Another admin recently connected a new Lan segment to the network gateway, but now traffic destined for addresses outside our networks is not working. Traffic Issue After New LAN Segment: The new LAN segment might not have a proper route set up on the network gateway, leading to traffic not being directed correctly. The gateway needs a route to forward traffic from the new segment to external networks. 2. Another admin recently added new zones to the network, however none of the reverse lookup’s work. What is the possible reason, think of scenarios and IP config that can be related to this question, why do you think there’s an error?  Reverse Lookup Failure: The reverse DNS zone might not have been configured properly or not at all. This could mean the PTR records for the new IP ranges are missing, preventing reverse lookups. 3. Another admin recently made changes to the network's DNS server, and in the time since the update traffic to the server has increased dramatically. What is the possible reason, think of scenarios and IP config that can be related to this question, why do you think there’s an error? Increased Traffic to DNS Server: The DNS server might be misconfigured, causing it to act as an open resolver, allowing external queries. This would result in a significant increase in traffic. 4. Malware was recently discovered in our network. Malware Discovery: The network might have weak security controls, outdated software, or a lack of monitoring, allowing malware to infiltrate. Immediate steps should be taken to isolate, analyze, and remove the malware. 5.
