1. Given the examples shown above, what pH do you think would be ideal for a saltwater
aquarium containing species of fsh found in a coral reef? Justfy your answer. I think the
ideal pH for a saltwater aquarium containing species of the fsh found in coral reef the
pH level would have to be from 6.5 to 9.0 because if the pH of water is to high or low the
aquatc fsh living in it will die.
2. What pH do you think would be ideal for the soil that most trees grow in? Justfy your
answer. The pH level in the soil would have to be around 6.5 to be ready available of the
plants nutrients because most plants thrive in around 6.0 to 7.0 range.
