Preface
It is a pleasure to welcome all the students of the IT Faculty who
registered to follow the HND in Computing, Software Engineering and
Network programmes of the International College of business and
Technology (ICBT) campuses in Sri Lanka. HND Programs in IT Faculty
cover the career opportunities in demand locally and internationally thus,
it is beneficial to the audience who are looking for private higher
education opportunities in IT and related fields.
Higher National Diploma in Computing and Software Engineering Program
provides learners high quality and industry driven skills and knowledge in
the technologies that are in demand in the international and local
Software engineering and Information Technology industry. The
programme mainly focus on providing the learners knowledge and skills
in the application of tools and techniques to the real world problems in
Software development, business analysis and other Information
technology related fields and thereby make them more employable in the
industry.
The Higher National Diploma in Computing and Network Technology is for
learners who work in, or who want to work in, network administration,
implementation, support and other related areas. The qualification will
give learners the opportunity to specialize in the skills and latest
technologies used in designing, implementing and maintaining network
systems for different scenarios and organisations.
