Exposition The characters are presented, and the conflict is
more exposed. Act I
Rising Action The personalities of the characters are more
exposed, and conflict is created. Act II
Climax After something happens, it affects the character.
Such as Macbeth after Duncan was murdered. Act III
Falling Action The hero deals with the conflict of the climax. Act IV
Resolution The story comes to an end when Macbeth gets what
he deserves. Act V
